Ruby red
Rose, cherry, herbaceous
Soft, balanced, quite tannic, tasty
14-16 °C
The Notes of the Sommelier:
The wine is limpid, with a bright ruby red color. The nose is complex, with floral hints of rosehip,
and fruity notes of ripe cherry and marasca cherry, leading into fine herbaceous notes. The
mouthfeel is warm and soft, with a well-balanced freshness, fine-grained tannins, and a clear
mineral tasty note.
Food and wine pairings:
This wine makes a great match with eggplant parmigiana, as well as with medium-aged cheeses or
with grilled pork; it works perfectly with a risotto with Etna porcini mushrooms and crispy crumbled
bacon from Nebrodi black pigs.
